Effective March 27, 2026
These terms govern your use of the StageTime website at https://stagetime.app and the StageTime desktop application (together, the "Service"), operated by Wake Media, Inc. ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.
StageTime is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. You may install and run the application on any number of computers you own or control. You may use it in any context — live events, rehearsals, broadcasts, worship services, corporate meetings, or otherwise.
You may not:
The StageTime name, logo, website design, application code, and documentation are the property of Wake Media, Inc. and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding.
StageTime includes a built-in HTTP API intended for local network automation and integration with third-party control systems. You may use the API for any lawful purpose, including building integrations and control modules. We do not guarantee API compatibility across major versions.
The StageTime Companion module and any other integration code we distribute are provided under the same terms as the application itself. Third-party software you use alongside StageTime (Bitfocus Companion, Elgato Stream Deck software, etc.) is governed by its own license terms.
We may release updates to the application from time to time. Updates are optional — the application will notify you when one is available, but will not install anything without your action. We reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Live events carry inherent technical risk. You are responsible for having appropriate backup and contingency plans.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wake Media, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data or use, arising out of your use of the Service.
In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid us for the Service — which, since StageTime is free, is zero.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wake Media, Inc. and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Pennsylvania, United States.
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
